Asia Cup 2025 Schedule
After months of uncertainty and diplomatic back-and-forth, the full schedule for the upcoming Asian Cup has been confirmed. The 2025 edition of the tournament, which is set to take place in the UAE from September 9 to 28, will see India play at least three league matches, including a high-octane clash with arch-rivals Pakistan on September 14. The two teams are also expected to face each other again in the Super Four stage, and possibly even a third time if both teams reach the final. The tournament was originally supposed to be hosted by India, but the ICC dropped that option in favour of a hybrid model between the BCCI and PCB that would ensure any India-Pakistan clashes are held at neutral venues.
In total, there will be 19 matches contested in the group phase with each team playing every other team once. The top two from each group then advance to the Super Four stage, where they will play the top teams from the other groups. The top two teams from this stage then meet in the final.
