Can Vape Oil Help You Sleep Better?

April 21, 2024

Vaping is a practice that involves inhaling liquids into your lungs from devices such as e-cigarettes and vape pens. It is often thought of as being safer than smoking cigarettes because it does not produce smoke, but it still brings harmful chemicals into your lungs. It is also addictive and can cause health problems.

A lot of people use vape oil to try to quit smoking or because they think it might help them sleep better. But the research on this is mixed. Some of the research suggests that CBD, a non-intoxicating compound found in cannabis, might improve sleep. But this is not a sure thing and you should experiment with different oils to find your preferred one.

Unlocking the Potential: Understanding Vape Oil

It is important to choose a high-quality oil that has been sourced and manufactured responsibly. You can check if your chosen oil has been tested for pesticides and heavy metals by asking the supplier. It is also a good idea to look for organic, raw and cold-pressed oils.

Our lab analysis has shown that the major constituents of a cannabis vape oil are Delta9-THC and CBN. These are present in almost all of our samples. Interestingly, the levels of these compounds drop as the product is heated. In vapor sampled, the concentrations were around 7% and 4% respectively. The levels of the other additives, such as VEA and PEGs, dropped as well, probably due to their larger molecular weight and higher boiling point compared to cannabinoids.
